Water stock in the Khadakwasla Dam has been increased to 9.44 per cent, and water has been started to release 992 cusec water in the Mutha river. This year, the water crisis of the city has disappeared this year.
Panshet, Varasgaon, Temghar and Khadakwasla dam areas which have supplied water to Pune city have been continuously receiving rain from last week. Dhadakavasala dam dam has been filled with 100% Khadakvasal Dam and 100% water is also on the way to fill the dam. The rice plantation has been completed due to rain falling into the area. Since the Pune city has planned water for this year, the city has also lost its faith. The water level will be increased if the continuous rainfall continues, the irrigation department said.
